History

The National Institute for Food Control (hereinafter referred to as NIFC) was established under the Decision No. 376/QD-TTg March 23, 2009 by the Prime Minister. Founded under the regulations of the Decree No. 79/2008 /ND-CP at the same time with the system of Food Safety Sub-Departments in 63 provinces/ municipalities, the National Institute for Food Control is a technical unit implementing food testing techniques to serve the state management of food safety and meeting the needs of society.
