Training in “Application of spectrophotometry method in food testing”

In continuation to the enhancement of the capacity and skills for the Institute staff specializing in food testing, the National Institute for Food Control invited Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Huong as an expert in analytical chemistry from the University of Natural Sciences (Hanoi National University) to come and train the Institute staff with updated knowledge of "Application of spectrophotometry method in food testing”.

The training course was run within 3 days with the following contents:

- Theoretical fundamentals of spectrophotometry

- Presentation of analytical engineering in modern spectrophotometry:

+ Molecular Absorption Spectrophotometry – Ultra Violet Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis)

+ Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS)

+ Optical Emission Spectrum/Atomic Emission Spectrum (OES, AES)

+ Fluorescence Spectroscopy

+ Infrared radiation (IR) Spectroscopy.
