OVERVIEW
National Institute for Food Control (hereinafter referred to as NIFC) under the Ministry of Health was established by Decision No. 376/QD-TTg dated March 23, 2009 of the Prime Minister. The NIFC operates in compliance with Decision No. 6065/QD-BYT dated December 30, 2019 and Decision No. 5455/QD-BYT dated December 28, 2020 of the Minister of Health.
The NIFC is the highest level food testing agency of the health sector; serving state management of professional activities by the Ministry of Health and authorities in related fields comlying with law.

NETWORK OF TESTING LABORATORY SYSTEM

With a synchronous, modern, advanced equipment system and facility, a experienced and highly qualified team, the NIFC has always been a reliable destination of customers in the field of management, production and business of food products. The Institute's products and services are always diverse in form, ensuring prestige for quality and effectiveness such as: testing on many food samples; equipment calibration; product certification; proficiency testing; consulting, training in food sampling and technology transfer… In addition to food products, the Institute is designated by competent authorities as the testing and state inspection unit for other products in the medical field. agriculture, industry and commerce.
Currently, the NIFC is applying the quality management system in accordance with the standards: TCVN ISO/IEC 17020, 17021, 17025, 17065; ISO/IEC 17043, 17034 ; ISO/TS 22003 and ISO 9001.
Over 10 years of construction and development, with the efforts to strive, focus on intellectual solidarity of the NIFC’s diretor board and staffs, the NIFC has been recognized by the leaders of the Government and the Ministry of Health, received and appreciated with many noble awards: Third-class Labor Medal 2019; Government’s Emulation Flag 2020, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Health 2013, 2016, 2019; many Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Health and other departments, ministries.
