Successfully organization the international training courses "Method of determination of mycotoxins in food"

With the agrement of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Technology, in the period from 16-20/11/2015, The NIFC has organized training courses on technical analysis fungal toxins. The training course is the international cooperation activities of the Institute with the organization UNIDO, FAO / IAEA, JIFSAN.

Contents of the training

- The effects of fungi toxic to health and the regulations on control of fungal toxins in food and feed (Mycotoxins Health Effects and Regulations for food and feed).

- The sampling plan for testing fungal toxins

- Requirements for laboratory accreditation.

- The methods of quality assurance and quality control

- The advanced analysis techniques

- The requirements for method validation

- The practices exercises at the laboratory: errorsof ampling process, Quick test, ELISA, standard sample preparation, analysis LC-FLD, analysis LC-MS / MS, method development of LC ( Practical laboratory exercises on: sampling variability, lateral flow (strip) tests, ELISA, samples and Standards Preparation, sample extraction and clean up, LC-FLD analysis, method development of LC, fluorescence optimization, LC-MS / MS).

-  The lecturers from the University of Maryland, USA; laboratories of FAO / IAEA and Europe.

- Dr. Janie Dubois, training Laboratories International (International training laboratory) at the University of Maryland and the USFDA (JIFSAN).

- Mrs. Britt MAESTRONI, Scientific Secretary, organized cooperation between FAO and IAEA.

There are 20 participants attended the training course came from Asian economic bloc APEC include: Oman, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Laos, Malaysia and Vietnam.
