Proficiency testing schemes in 2025

National Institute for Food Control (NIFC) has been conducting proficiency testing (PT) programs since 2010 and has been accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043:2023.

PT results are convincing evidence demonstrating the competence of a testing laboratory when participating in programs by a PT provider with the appropriate competence in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043. In order to support laboratories to have the opportunity to assess the competence, accuracy and reliability of testing results, NIFC plans to organize proficiency testing programs in 2025 as follows:
