Dear: Laboratories
National Institute for Food Control (NIFC) has provided proficiency testing (PT) program from 2010. PT program provided by NIFC are in accordance with the requirement of ISO/IEC 17043:2021 and accredited by the American Laboratory Accreditation Association (A2LA) with accreditation code 4254.01 dated July 6, 2021.
PT results are convincing evidence demonstrating the capacity of laboratories when participating in programs provided by a qualified PT provider. With the purpose of supporting laboratories in general and especially laboratories under Ministry of Health to assess the capacity, accuracy and reliability of test results, NIFC has a plan to organize some PT program in 2023 in the field of chemistry and biology with detailed information in the attachment.
