Announcement No.3
To enhance research, training, cooperation, and scientific exchange activities related to food and food testing, the National Institute for Food Control is organizing the International Scientific Conference on Food Control 2026, tentatively scheduled for 15–17 October 2026. The main theme of the Conference is “Smart Food Safety Control towards International Harmonization”, covering the following topics:
1. Risk-based food safety control;
2. Nutrition and food labeling, (carbohydrates, dietary fiber, micronutrients, etc.);
3. Quality and safety of probiotic and prebiotic products;
4. Food additives and processing aids;
5. Toxins and chemical contaminants in food;
6. Microbiological hazards and foodborne pathogens;
7. Hygiene monitoring and prevention of food poisoning;
8. Food safety and quality control for health supplements;
9. Laboratory quality assurance;
10. Other topics related to food safety.
In addition to scientific presentation sessions by experts, the Conference will also include a scientific presentation session for young scientists, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and PhD candidates under 40 years of age from universities, academies, and research institutes, focusing on the above-mentioned topics.
Following Announcement No. 2 and the Invitation Letter dated 05 May 2026, the National Institute for Food Control respectfully invites scientists, lecturers, researchers, and other interested professionals from Vietnam and abroad to submit manuscripts. Manuscripts shall be prepared in English. After peer review and acceptance, submitted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN or in the Vietnam Journal of Food Control and Safety free of charge. Outstanding presentations will be selected for oral presentation at the Conference.

The deadline for full-paper submission has been extended to 10 July 2026.
